Silas Jasper Branson was born March 25, 1839 in Marion County, Illinois and died January 20, 1904 in Illinois. He was in Company K of the 49th regiment of Illinois Infantry. He married Margaret Brazel on July 20, 1858 in Jefferson County, Illinois and they raised 9 children. |
