Organized at Freeport, Ill., and mustered in for 100 days June 18, 1864. Moved to Memphis, Tenn., June 21-24. Attached to R. R. District, Memphis, Tenn., District of West Tennessee, and assigned to duty on Memphis & Charleston R. R. at White's Station till October.

Mustered out October 27, 1864.

Regiment lost by disease during service 30.
